This policy explains what this website does with your personal data. It covers the website only. Clinical records created when you attend as a patient are handled separately, under the practice’s own records policy and the Medical Council’s guidance on confidentiality.

What this website collects

If you do neither, this website collects nothing about you. There is no account, no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no social-media script anywhere on this site.
The enquiry form
If you send an enquiry, the details you enter are transmitted to Formspree, a form-handling service acting as a data processor on the practice’s behalf. Formspree forwards your enquiry to the practice by email and retains a copy in the practice’s Formspree account. Its servers are outside the European Economic Area, so your details are transferred internationally under the safeguards set out in Formspree’s own terms.
The lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the consent box before sending. Your details are used only to respond to you — never for marketing, and never shared or sold.
Please do not send detailed medical information through the form. It is for booking and general enquiries. Anything you send travels through a third-party service and by ordinary email, neither of which is a secure channel for clinical information. Discuss that at your appointment or by phone.
Analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, this site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to measure how the site is used. Your IP address is anonymised, and nothing loads until you accept — declining means no analytics cookies are set at any point. Nothing about your health or your reason for visiting is collected. How long data is kept
Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months. If your enquiry leads to you becoming a patient, the relevant details move into your clinical record and are then retained under the practice’s records policy rather than this one.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.

Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date.
